General Manager, Sales & Marketing
Rodrigo received his Bachelor of Science in Business & Administration from ITESO University in 1995. His first job out of college focused on Market Research; then, in 1997 he joined “TAMROCK DE MEXICO” in his hometown of Guadalajara, where he worked as a “Key Account Manager” responsible for business development throughout the country.
Only one year later (and thanks to an outstanding performance), he was promoted and relocated to Gainesville, Florida, in order to expand his role’s coverage to Central and South America. Shortly after, SANDVIK, who already owned part of TAMROCK, bought the rest of their stock and became one single corporation, SANDVIK.
10 years and a handful of promotions later, he was offered yet another promotion, and was relocated to North East Pennsylvania (East Stroudsburg).
During the last decade working for SANDVIK PROCESS SYSTEMS as “Marketing Specialist, Region Americas” he did extensive market research, visited more than 30 countries, and gained extensive knowledge of Steel Belts, Conveyors, their target customer’s needs and challenges.
After almost two decades working for SANDVIK, he decided to join forces with a group of highly experienced former SANDVIK employees, and created “STEEL BELT PROCESSING LLC.”, which serves as the exclusive distributor for SHANGHAI NAUT STEEL BELTS SYSTEMS CO. LTD. for the whole western hemisphere.
