We offer 4 different grades of steel belt. Each grade has chemical and mechanical characteristics that make it suitable for a particular application. Both solid and perforated belts are available.
AS1200 (Austenitic Stainless with a tensile strength of approximately 1200 MPa), offers:
- High static strength
- Excellent fatigue strength
- Good corrosion resistance
- Good wear resistance
- Good thermal properties
- Great repairability
This material is easy to sanitize and maintain so it’s an excellent choice for applications such as:
- Steam cookers
- Dryers of fruits and vegetables
- Food conveyors
AS1200 is not suitable for use with hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid or substances that contain chlorides.
AS1000 (Austenitic Stainless with a tensile strength of approximately 1000 MPa)
AS1000 offers superior flatness, mechanical strength, acid/ alkali resistance and a level of performance that other belt grades can’t while also being easy to sanitize and maintain. This makes AS1000 ideal for more demanding applications in the chemical, medical and food industries, especially where salts/chlorides are present, or where food grade/medical grade hygiene standards must be observed.
CS1300C carbon steel with a tensile strength of approximately 1300 MPa.
CS1300 carbon steel belts are manufactured with a special heat-treatment process to achieve the required tensile strength and surface finish for baking and food processing. Our bake oven belts easily handle very high temperatures while being energy efficient. They are available as solid or perforated belts for different applications and requirements.
CS1300 is characterized by:
- Good static strength
- Good fatigue strength
- High thermal conductivity
- Very good wear resistance
- Easily repaired
- Not susceptible to stress corrosion cracking or intercrystalline corrosion
CS1300 is sensitive to hydrogen embrittlement. If you plan to operate a CS1300 steel belt where there are sources of hydrogen embrittlement, contact us for more information.
MS1650 is made from low carbon, martensitic, precipitation hardened stainless steel. It is sometimes referred to as 15-7PH.
MS1650 is a very high strength material that is well suited for use in double Belt Presses, Rotocure Presses and Mende Presses.
MS1650 steel is characterized by:
- Very good corrosion resistance
- Very high static strength
- Very high fatigue strength
- High wear resistance
- Easily repairable

Perforated Steel Belts
Some applications such as vacuum conveying, drying , filtering and screening work better with a perforated rather than a solid steel belt. For these applications we supply belts with the following:
- Thickness 0.08mm~2mm
- Width 50mm-3000mm
- Hole diameter 0.8mm to customer needs
- Hole shapes By agreement
- Corrosion resistant
- Easy to clean
- No plasticizer and hazardous substances
- Long service life
- Good repairability
- No stretch and deformation
Five industry standard perforation patterns covering most requirements are available. Other patterns, with a minimum hole diameter of 0.8 mm (0.03 in.) and different hole spacings can be provided upon request
Scope of Supply
V-ROPES FOR BELT TRACKING
If required, V- ropes can be bonded to the underside of a belt to insure proper belt tracking.
SIDE DAMS FOR PRODUCT CONTAINMENT
V-rope can also be bonded or bolted to the edges of the product side of the belt to ensure that product does not fall off the edges of the belt. To meet the temperature demands of the processing environment, V-ropes are made from two different materials:
• Nitrile rubber for operating temperatures from -20°C up to +110°C
• Natural rubber for operating temperatures from -60°C up to +70°C
STANDARD V-ROPE SIZES
Using our state of the art bonding equipment, V-rope can be bonded to belts up to 2000mm wide. Our special adhesive technology produces an excellent bond between the belt steel and the rubber V-rope.
SPIRAL V-ROPE FOR EXTREME OPERATING CONDITIONS.
In environments that are not suitable for rubber v-ropes, Stainless Steel Spiral V-Rope can be used. The Spiral V-Rope is spot welded to the stainless steel belt.
For extreme applications where a product will not release from the surface of the steel belt, the belt can be supplied with special coatings such as TeflonTM.
